After returning to Canada in 1975 for home assignment and then staying in Canada for Louise’s health reasons (cancer), Lea became the first executive director of the EFC of Canada Mission (now ServeBeyond), retiring in 1989.
Lea and Louise’s life work as missionaries and Lea’s work as missionary statesman spanned 40 years.
